Architectural Technician / CAD Technician

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an up-and-coming Littlehampton-based practice. Having been established for around 18-months and with brand new office premises, your new team are looking to recruit staff to help with their growing workload. The practice predominantly work on commercial projects but also some residential too, with the potential for expansion into office refurbishments too.
Your new role
As a result of an increased workload, your new employer require an experienced Architectural Technician and/or CAD Technician to support them across a variety of projects. These projects run across the commercial and residential sectors. As an Architectural Technician, you will be required to complete measured surveys, submit planning applications and have a good understanding of Building Regulations, whilst a CAD Technician is required to produce and alter CAD drawings. An ability to produce 3D work (in SketchUp) would be a bonus for either candidate. The practice require staff for around 3 months initially, however there is also the potential for this to become a permanent role.
What you'll need to succeed
You should demonstrate excellent communication skills with a personable and friendly nature. The ideal candidate should have a fluent understanding of AutoCAD and a sound knowledge of the UK Building Regulations. Experience within the commercial sector would be ideal, but is not essential.
