Architectural Technician invited to join a growing design studio and support on a range of projects in the residential sector.

Client Details

Architectural Design Studio in the West Midlands who cover most sectors but excel especially in residential urban design, masterplanning and architecture. They are relative newcomer and are growing, with increasing work from both repeat and new clients. The team has an excellent relationship that is more akin to an extended family, working in a relaxed environment as a united whole, helping each other to succeed. Description

The role will have you work in an intimate team, supporting primarily on a range of residential projects for residential developments. The main focus of your work will be working drawings and alterations to developer housetypes as required, ensuring they comply with Building Regulations and housebuilding specific regulations e.g. NHBCs. You will predominantly be working in AutoCAD.

Alongside this, you will have the opportunity to work on other projects across their portfolio such as bespoke residential, commercial and retail projects.

Profile

You will have between 1 - 5years experience in an Architectural capacity (ideally on residential projects) with a good understanding of timber-frame and traditional construction, and strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe CS. You enjoy working on getting details right and have a high level of self-discipline to work autonomously, accurately and quickly on drawings. Most of all, you enjoy working closely with colleagues and getting involved in studio life.
