We have a truly cracking opportunity for an ambitious and skilled individual who has strong housing planning experience to join a top firm in their new venture in the South West.
Being one of the most reputable design consultancies on the South Coast they have bucked the trend somewhat and their work load has been steadily increasing over the past few years. A thriving proportion of that workload is based in the South West which has resulted in their decision to open an office just outside of Bristol. Spearheading the operation is a recognised housing developer designer who has vast experience within the field, they are now looking for a gifted technician to support him.
This is an exciting opening giving the fact it's offering the opportunity to join an established practice in the early days of this new office. Specialising within the housing sector we are looking for applicants to show circa 5 years' experience working on large scale developments, ideally within a house builder environment or alternatively a reputable design consultancy. They focus on the planning stages of these projects so you'll be confident in your capability with planning applications, your UK building regulations knowledge will be of the highest level whilst also being proficient on AutoCAD.
As well as the technical skill set we are looking for applicants who are going to suit the responsibility this role offers in way of office management. You must be committed, a strong communicator given the client liaison responsibilities and self-motivated.
The role on offer is a permanent contract in their serviced office just outside of Bristol, ideally we are looking for applicants able to start immediately but 4 weeks' notice periods will be considered. We are welcoming applications from intermediate to senior candidates and salary will be dependent on relevant experience and ability, as a guideline it is £27,000 to £35,000.
