The successful applicant will sell the company to new commercial prospects, and will be able to demonstrate a personable nature, good communication skills, self motivation and strong ambition with a good degree of commercial initiative. The position requires a knowledge and interest of the automotive sector and ideally plant and machinery sectors also.
Based between Nottingham Head Oce and West Midlands Auction Hub at Marchington, Stas. with national expenses paid travel required. Also expected to hold meetings with colleagues at other John Pye & Sons UK sites.
Our Commercial Manager will also be able to demonstrate a previous success rate in commercial sales with a solid track record of hitting targets. The objective will be to research, identify, approach, develop and secure prospects within the automotive, plant and machinery sectors.
The successful candidate will also be required to provide input work on bid tenders and assist the company with ISO accreditation. Full auction and company training will be provided.
