Duties and Responsibilities
The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment seeks a Business Development Manager who will work with academic staff to grow the Faculty's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Executive Education Programmes. This will include the development of strategy, market analysis, developing business cases and securing start-up funding. The post holder will also support a range of other activities related to enterprise and knowledge transfer including assistance with costing and pricing of consultancy work and showcasing the Faculty's capabilities to a range of audiences.
The post is funded for 12 months in the first instance.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate will have a track record of successful business development or significant involvement with training provision, experience of developing successful business plans and excellent communication and networking skills. Previous work experience or study within the Built Environment will be an advantage as will knowledge of professional and regulatory bodies' requirements.
