Our client, a reputable Design Practice, has a permanent opportunity for a Housing Layout Designer.
Responsibilities will include:
- working on large scale Residential layouts
- contributing to planning applications
- working alongside a multi-discipline team in South West area
- working on comprehensive designs, plotting standard house types efficiently, as well as modifying standard house types to suit
- working on house type working drawings
- 3D detailing
- working on D&A Statements
Suitable candidates must have the following skills:
- Experienced in producing Layouts for residential schemes
- Strong skills in the use of AutoCAD/Microstation
- Strong knowledge/experience of Residental Layout Design
- Strong technical and building construction knowledge
- Strong knowledge of the planning system
- Appropriate knowledge of H&S/Building legislation
- Educated to degree level
