Contract IT Security Architect for Nottingham based client - 6 to 9 months initial contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all security concerns relating to Enterprise projects, including:
    • Access Management (including Enterprise and Web Services Single Sign-On)
    • Identity Management and User Provisioning
    • Security Information and Event Management
    • IT Governance, Risk and Compliance
    • Federated Identity Management
    • SOA and Web Services Security
    • Risk Management
    • Privacy Management
  • Act in a consultative role, advising both internal and external clients on security-related issues
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to support operational readiness
  • Manage suppliers including external consultants and technology providers
  • Collaborate with sales team by offering input for RFPs
  • Take on a variety of smaller projects as part of the wider eClinical Program

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree-level qualification in either Information Security, IT, Engineering, Mathematics or Science, or equivalent industry experience
  • Extensive experience in Information Security with up-to-date knowledge and experience
  • Demonstrated deployment experience with leading vendor solutions across one or more functional areas (including solutions from vendors such as IBM, Oracle/Sun, HP, CA, Novell & Microsoft)
  • Familiarity with range of security standards, ideally including ISO27001, HMG SPF, PCI DSS and other relevant security standards and technologies
  • Excellent client management and team working capabilities
  • Thorough, process-driven approach to the delivery of high quality business solutions
  • IBM Certified Deployment Professional certifications for IBM Tivoli Identity Manager and / or Access Manager for e-Business a strong advantage
  • Other related vendor specific or IT security qualifications (including CISSP or CLAS) are desirable, though not essential.
