Design Manager – Main Contractor – North London
The Company
Our client is a national main contractor working throughout the UK with offices based in North London. Projects they complete are a mix of complex refurb and new build with values between £1 million and £30 million which includes schools, hospitals, commercial developments and university buildings.
They benefit from a number of stable and on-going client relationships in multiple sectors and have recently secured two new projects. Your time will be split between office and site with taking responsibility for one of these projects from contract award to practical completion, working closely with the client and site teams to ensure timely and efficient completion within scope.
Desired Experience / Qualifications
Degree or similar academic qualification
Career history with established main contractors
Experience working on £10 million + projects
Ability to contribute at both pre and post contract stage
Previous experience managing sites would be seen as an advantage
