Our client was established in the mid 70's with just 12 employees - today they operate from 80,000 sq feet and with 180 employees. As an engineering company they offer a full range of including bespoke pression pressing and Tool Design and Manufacture, Laser and Punch Presses as well as Multi Axis Press Brakes. They are able to manufacture to design any metal part, and sell their finished products into existing manufacturers to use in their complete products (OEM's). Many major manufacturers across a range of industries choose to use our clients for the metal grilles and parts of their overall product as they know that they are guaranteed efficiency, input with design, affordability and essentially consistent reliability as well as a bespoke approach. Our client is currently looking to expand their sales force by bringing in an additional area sales manager in the Midlands area to increase their new business levels with new manufacturers.


  • Selling bespoke precision engineered metal products into OEM'S channels
  • Building new relationships with manufacturers across a range of industries including defence, aerospace, MOD, IT, Construction
  • Covering an area across the whole of the midlands
  • Working towards and exceeding annual sales target
  • Conducting presentations to new clients
  • Understanding clients needs and projects, and offering that bespoke design
  • Field based role


  • Must have experience selling a product into manufacturers to use as part of their finished product
  • Must have a technical background in terms of engineering and/or similar
  • Can demonstrate a history of winning new business and meeting sales targets
  • Lives within the midlands area
  • Understands some level of design or has that technical desire to
  • Able to think outside of the box and explore different vertical markets
  • Hungry to progress within a company and earn well
