Retail Designer/ CAD Technician – Supermarkets – Herts - £NEG
The Client
Our client a leading retailer is seeking Retail Designers/ Architectural Technicians to join its busy design studio working on high street store projects on a 3 month contract basis.
You will have experience gained working in either the retail or commercial sector, have an extensive retail/ commercial background ideally including supermarkets (although this is not essential) and be available for an immediate start.
The Role
The successful candidate will come from a retail/ commercial background, have experienced gained carrying out site surveys/ working drawings and have excellent AutoCAD skills.
The role with involve the following:
Concept sketching, concept development, running design projects from start to finish, liaising with suppliers, developing prototypes, design management (programming, basic costing etc.)
The role is working to a tight deadline and you must be able to meet all timescales/ deadlines set.
Skills
Client facing skills
Strong AutoCAD skills
Excellent knowledge of Working Drawings
Site Survey experience
Full UK driving license (Own transport preferred although not essential)
