Senior Designer/ Project Manager - Retail - London - Permanent - £NEG
Our Client our looking for a permanent Senior Designer / Project Manager to oversee the smooth running of a variety of high end retail projects, ensuring a successful outcome every time.
You will build on the company’s objectives and methodologies and assist in taking the Company forward, whilst maintaining its award-winning design status.
Overview of Role:
• Managing projects from initial brief through production to final implementation and installation.
• Sourcing of materials, manufacturers (in-house and external) and suppliers required for assigned
Projects.
• Quoting of projects.
• Responsible for setting up and adhering to production timelines ensuring all key dates and
Deadlines are met.
• Ensuring that costs are maintained within set budgets throughout project.
• Monitoring the progress of projects: managing crew and maintaining quality of production.
• Arranging and overseeing delivery and installation of projects on agreed completion dates (on-site where applicable).
• Ensuring effective communication with clients, account managers, crew and suppliers.
• Sketching and creating rendered visuals, as well as technical production plans etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Project Management experience (3-5 years minimum in a similar retail environment)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word
• Advanced Photoshop + a 3D package such as Vectorworks
• Adobe Illustrator skills an advantage
• Attention to detail
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to communicate well on all levels
• Highly efficient, organised, a strong planner, problem-solver with great time management /
prioritisation skills
• An ability to manage a large number of jobs at any one time under tight timelines, working under
Pressure
• Vast knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes associated with our industry
• A degree/similar qualifications in an appropriate field
