This is an exciting position for someone to play a lead role in the technical function of a leading manufacturer of EWI systems.
Your good knowledge of External Wall Insulation/EWI systems will be complemented by an understanding of material properties and the interaction between different material types which will strengthen the company’s building physics expertise. Leading a small Technical Services team which provides support on EWI systems, technical mortars and other related products, you will have the capability to deal with some of the country’s leading architects and developers.
With an excellent appreciation of materials properties, your contribution to new product development activity should result in profitable sales growth through the introduction of innovative solutions enabling the company to capitalise on the opportunities presented by Green Deal and the Sustainability Agenda. You will also be required to represent the company through participation in Trade Associations.
Currently, you may be working as a Technical Services Manager with a facades manufacturer (curtain walling, cladding systems, panels or profiles) or you may have a background as a Senior Architectural Technician or Project Architect. Likely to be educated to degree level, you must have an excellent understanding of building regulations.
