A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Environmental Planner to join an award winning planning team at a leading consultancy.
The successful Senior Environmental Planner will be working on projects across a range of sectors that include development, regeneration and infrastructure on a variety of projects that vary in complexity, size and are within the public sphere.
The ideal Senior Environmental Planner will have 7 years' previous experience, preferably within an environmental planning consultancy. Prior experience of preparing environmental statements and securing planning consents for an array of clients will be beneficial. Due to the nature of the role it would be ideal if the Senior Environmental Planner could display their excellent client management skills as they will be responsible for liaising with clients, stakeholders and other professionals.
The Senior Environmental Planner will, ideally, hold a planning degree, be a Chartered member of the RTPI and an EIA or IEMA qualification would be advantageous. The successful Senior Environmental Planner will possess excellent report writing, consultation and presentation skills.
The successful Senior Environmental Planner will be managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across an array of high-profile projects, contributing to EIA's, SEA's and complex planning applications. Key responsibilities will include leading projects, managing the relevant budgets, liaising closely with clients, stakeholders and third parties and mentoring junior members of the team.
