“Exciting Opportunity” - Senior Designer/CAD Technician – Retail/Displays – London – Permanent – £NEG
Our client a small creative consultancy based in South London who design, produce and install visual concepts with a primary focus on retail window displays, parties, events and exhibitions are seeking a Senior Designer/ Draughtsperson to join their team.
MAIN DUTIES
The successful candidate will be an experienced senior designer/ CAD technician with the main function of the role being able to lead the drawing team in preparing and drawing all of their technical drawings and plans for production.
You will be proficient in Vectorworks/AutoCAD and have 3D rendering capabilities – Sketchup and Vray would be ideal.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and deliver excellent visual imagery
Visualise and draw up store window schemes to scale
Work on projects from concept to production
Establish and maintain templates
Work closely with the other members of the drawing team
Meet stringent deadlines while having the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Any other ad hoc duties within design department when needed
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in retail design would be extremely advantageous
Design degree (Set Design/Architecture/Interior Design/Spatial Design or similar) or significant proven experience in similar role
Technical drawing skills and ability to mock up window schemes to scale
Proficient in Vectorworks/AutoCAD, Solidworks, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational skills and methodical
Ability to deliver projects on time and work on several projects simultaneously
Good communicator and problem solver
Hours or work : 9.00-6.00pm
