URS are one of the world's leading engineering and environmental consultants, offering professional planning, engineering and architectural design, environmental, construction and programme and construction management services throughout the UK and internationally. You will be joining a well-established and experienced team in one of our larger offices. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Architect to join our Nuclear division in Warrington.
As an Architect in Warrington, you will plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials. You will consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structures or renovations, and prepare information regarding design, specifications, materials, colour, equipment, estimated costs and construction time. You will also represent clients in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts.
- You will demonstrate a wide experience of design and project management within the regulated industries
- Worked previously on process driven, highly serviced projects.
- Experience of projects within the nuclear sector is advantageous but not essential worked effectively in multi-discipline, multi-company project teams.
- Knowledge and an understanding of the BIM approach to design and information production.
You will hold a degree in a relevant subject, and will be a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and Registered with the Architect's Registration Board. You will be able to demonstrate extensive experience of operating as a senior project architect and as a project manager, and will have interfaced with client representatives at all levels.
