Project manager - Workplace design
We are currently recruiting a project manager for workplace design, to work in South West London. My client is a large organisation that employs more than 3500 staff in various disciplines. They have recently approved a bid to deliver a new office strategy, to create new ideas to maximise the effective use of core office accommodation.
The job role will entail the management and co-ordination of the workplace space plan. You will create roll out ways of work to enhance desk sharing, in order for the client to make greater use of the space. You will be working very close to the facilities management team who has responsibility and contract management for the core building.
The ideal candidate will have Prince II and or MSP practitioner qualifications. You will also be educated to degree level with a strong literacy in Auto Cad. A good understanding of space management, office interior design, construction projects, property and facilities management is expected. Construction, project and contract management is a plus.
The key responsibilities is to plan the moves for the space that achieves both short and medium term plans, also workplace accommodation. The average desk ratio is 10 staff to 7 desks which require implementation. You will be working closely with other departments and external parties to ensure the clients operational requirements are met as well as the project objectives.
