Project Architect - Conservation Specialist
My award winning client specialises in the creative repair and adaptation of historic buildings, and in the design of new buildings in sensitive historic contexts.
An established practice that is well known for its innovative approach to the layering of historic buildings, adding new layers to serve present and future needs in a holistic & sustainable manner is currently on the lookout for a Project Architect to take on key projects.
They have worked for the English Heritage, the National Trust and Local Authorities, developing schemes to allow wider public access and use by the local and wider communities.
Their expertise in Project Management ensures that projects are delivered in an efficient and cost effective manner.
They are involved in various projects that include:
- Ecclesiastical Work
- Private Housing
- Public Buildings
- Heritage Sector
- Contemporary Design
You must have a proven problem solving ability that has enabled you to successfully deliver and manage complex projects.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a proven record in the completion of projects to the highest quality and integrity. We expect this to be reflected in at least 3 years proven post qualification experience with UK practices.
You must be enthusiastic, ambitious, with good technical knowledge and hands-on site experience.
