The Technology School supports postgraduate and undergraduate programmes across a wide range of disciplines. The School is committed to providing a learning experience which is highly student centred and focussed on the integration of study and real-world experience. An important area of the School’s full and part time provision is the Built Environment Programme, which supports a range of accredited courses including BSc (Hons) Construction Management, BA (Hons) Architectural Technology and BA (Hons) Interior Design, plus a range of complementary HNCs.
Applications are invited for the position of Senior Lecturer to teach units in the design and technology themes and contribute to the future development of the Built Environment Group.
Applicants should have or be working towards a relevant higher degree and offer industrial experience in either a technical or management role. In addition, you should be a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT). Some experience of teaching, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for the development of student learning are also essential.
