The Parliamentary Estates Directorate acts on behalf of the owners of the Parliamentary Estate. It deals with all property operations and management, to ensure the Estate is maintained and managed to agreed standards.
The role of the Assistant Design & Space Planning Manager is to provide space planning (2D and 3D) interior design and moves management services as part of the Parliamentary Estate Directorate’s small, pivotal Space Planning and Collections Management team.
The successful candidate will have exceptional CAD skills, and fluency in supporting software packages including Revit, Sketch-up, Photoshop etc with experience of large-scale commercial work space planning and building projects
You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of building constraints and regulations in relation to contemporary and historic environments with experience of managing minor office moves, from initial concept through to delivery and post-occupancy review
You will also have the ability to work as part of a team, with experience of dealing with clients and managing contractors at all levels and with good written and verbal communication skills.
