They are looking for an architect with revit experience to join their team where the candidate's main role will be working under the guidance of a senior member of staff; they are responsible for producing information in line with the agreed programme and deliverables throughout the project. As experience develops; supported by a senior member of staff; they will take a lead role for a phase of a large project or responsibility for a small scale project to develop further skills.
-Understand the project scope, programme and deliverables agreed with the client and internal DMA targets to achieve project goals.
-Under the guidance of the project leader, develop aspects of the project methodically through the RIBA Work Stages using the practice's Project Checklists and/or the client's bespoke requirements to ensure that all aspects are fully covered.
-Participate in the design process, producing proposals for review with the client.
-Develop and produce co-ordinated detailed design information.
-Produce information to ensure that all regulatory, legal and environmental requirements affecting the project achieve compliance.
-Where responsible for running phases of a large project or assuming the lead role on a smaller project, regularly report on progress and review the project with the senior architect.
-Build strong client relationships by understanding their organisation, culture and goals and consistently delivering to develop long term partnerships.
-Participate and contribute to the practice's CSR initiatives.
-Experience of working in practice developing projects and producing technical information.
-Have strong visual awareness, an eye for detail and design, and an ability to work in three dimensions (3D).
-BIM as a minimum have completed Revit Level 1 training and then continue to develop proficiency in all aspects.
-Use of software packages such Adobe creative suite, Rhino, NBS & Microsoft Office.
