Our client is a highly successful international architectural practice working in the residential, mixed-use, office, retail, leisure, sport, education, and industrial sectors. Over the last 40 years they have successfully completed projects in the U.K, Middle East and Europe that typically range from ¬£10m - ¬£100m in value. They now have an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Master Planner and Urban Designer to join their London office who, ideally will have an MA Urban Design and an established track of project experience that includes international schemes. 

Your responsibilities will include :-

Working closely with the Studio Director and design team to develop master plans, urban planning and landscaping solution for various types of project types.

Working from concept design through to detailed design, producing CAD drawings, graphic presentations and design narratives to budget and schedule.

Interaction and communication with clients and consultants during the design phase and at presentations.

A firm grasp of local and international codes are essential.

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications to be considered:-

Proven professional experience and will have worked on high profile National and International Master Planning/Urban Design projects.

Passion for seeking innovative, sustainable and creative design solutions for ever challenging design propositions.

Possess a high level of visual and verbal skill, and a high level of freehand and rendering skills.

Ability for researching and analysing project specific data and information to underpin the design proposition.

Good team spirit. Strong sense of personal responsibility and dedication to their work and the work of their team.

Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop, AutoCAD and SketchUp are required. Knowledge of Revit is a plus.

Preferably from a multi-disciplinary background e.g. Architecture, Landscape or Urban Design.
