Our client would like to hear from an Associate Acoustic Consultant with particular expertise in Environmental acoustics to support leadership of the acoustic department out of their London branch. The organization is recognized as a global leading, multidisciplinary consultancy and due to an increase in workload require a specialist to project manage a diverse number of developments across both public and private sectors.

Salary: £40 - 55K + benefits

Qualifications
Preferably MSc/BSc in Acoustics/ Noise and Vibration
MIAO
Full driving license

Experience
Principal/Associate consultancy experience in the field of Environmental Acoustics and ideally building acoustics
Technically competent and IT proficient
Good communication and client liaison skills
Extensive and detailed understanding of Environmental Acoustics.
A proven track record in effective project, people and financial management
Ability to use and instruct others in the use of sound and vibration meters
Highly organised and IT literate
Proven track record of business development

Duties
Training and organization of junior consultants,
Managing current and future assessment projects,
Overseeing and contributing to the planning and execution of acoustics, noise and vibration projects
Managing project teams to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines, financial forecasting and control of projects to ensure that they remain within budget
Writing high quality reports
Presentation of expert evidence at Public Inquiries on behalf of both developers and objectors.
Resolving complex acoustical engineering issues assuring compliance with statutory bodies

Projects
Typical project areas include Mineral Extraction, Waste management, land filling, open cast mining, wind farms, energy from waste facilities, residential developments, road, rail and air.
