With a rapidly growing reputation in the South West this Bristol based consultancy have already experienced some exceptional success and have already proved themselves to be fierce contenders to top London firms.

As a Principal Planner your role will play an integral part to the growth and success of this new office. This will include processing major planning applications of both private and public sector projects, reporting to the Planning Director on all planning-related matters, demonstrating effective methods of technical report preparation and presentation from a commercial perspective whilst developing positive working relationships with local councils, boards and commissions.

To be considered it is required that you have circa 5-10 years previous in practice experience whilst demonstrating extensive knowledge of urban planning and development and a thorough knowledge of private and public residential and mixed use market sectors gained within a similar planning consultancy or a local authority.

This is an outstanding opportunity to grow within an already widely successful company and your role will develop as the business grows. Due to the location of the practice the successful candidate will need to have access to their own transport.

This is a permanent position with a salary staring in the region of £38,000 + bonuses. As this role has the potential to be fast tracked to an associate level your salary will be significantly raised once associate status is gained.
