Project Architect – Education Sector - Central London - £40,000 - 45,000pa +

SKILLS REQUIRED: Vectorworks, Technical, Design, Education, Mixed Use

Established award winning design focused company based in Central London who work across residential, arts & culture, education, mixed use and conservation projects have a great opportunity for a strong Project Architect to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be working on education projects initially and will be both front end and site experienced, can give instructions to contractors and monitor progress against a set of design drawings. The successful architect will need to lead from the front and be able to work in Vectorworks (ideally). Past experience working for a respected design studio would be advantageous and ideally be available for an immediate start!

Skills Required:

-Strong project architect experience – design and delivery
-Experience of working directly with the client & contractors
-RIBA or ARB registered Architect with strong experience of working within the United Kingdom.
-Working knowledge of CAD systems, Vectorworks is preferred and Sketchup / Indesign advantageous
-Working knowledge of UK Building Systems, Regulations and construction types;
-Past experience working for a respected design studio would be advantageous
-Ideally you will be immediately available!

Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, be highly computer literate, self-motivated, a clear thinker, alongside a strong team player who can work in a multi-disciplinary team.
