Main purpose of an architectural technician

An enthusiastic individual is required to assist the architectural department in BIM drawing production

Main responsibilities of an architectural technician

Manage and lead the architectural BIM production on a project and creation of Revit families

Technical experience, skills and attributes required of an architectural technician

- AutoCAD/REvit Architecture proficient with excellent technical detailing ability through both scheme and detailed design project phases
- A strong understanding of multi-disciplinary design and integration of other disciplines Revit models into the architectural model including the ability to perform clash detection on multi-disciplinary Revit models
- Creation of 3D perspectives / Visualisations from model
- Ability to create and maintain Revit families library / BIM standards
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD Architecture and Navisworks
- Ability to solve design issues / provide technical design solutions
- Integrate multi-disciplinary Revit models and perform clash detection
- Technical detailing of building components within a BIM environment
-Take ownership of technical design and delivery
-Drive and enthusiasm to produce accurate, well-presented technical detail
