Our client, a highly reputable architectural practice with a prominent presence in the preservation of the most prolific heritage sites & listed cultural buildings is currently considering elite architects with the ability to enhance their already established presence in Scotland. The ideal candidate will be a conservation specialist with the level of experience befit for Directorship.
Our client’s expertise in its chosen fields of architecture anchors and informs their design which coupled with creative rational inspires their work with historic buildings and environments. Applicants will be able to demonstrate an understanding and appreciation for imperial & innovative design and how this is undertaken in continual dialogue with the past.
The efficacious candidate will have a wealth of knowledge obtained through an impressive track record of successfully managed/delivered conservation commissions from inception through to completion. Applicant resumes will demonstrate knowledge and an in depth understanding of historic environments and will have the ability to develop varied and flexible approaches to adaptive reuse/conservation projects.
Our client has recently secured a number of well publicised projects from a vast network of existing & new frameworks that will be made available to the successful individual.
The present work-force contains talented & specialist architects, heritage consultants and technicians renowned for delivering innovative and informed solutions to the most challenging and difficult projects, focusing heavily on conservation and world heritage projects. You will have a high level of autonomy that will enable you to guide and focus the practice whilst maintaining the use of the best preventive conservation policies, methodologies and practices.
