My client is a successful marker leader in Town Planning and Design with a number of offices throughout the UK. The Town Planning team currently has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented Senior Planner to their offices in Cambridge.
With multiple offices in the UK, the Cambridge office is mostly comprised by the Planning team, specialising in the energy sector as well as mixed use and residential development schemes. The ideal Senior Planner will have some experience in gas, oil and energy but this is not essential - the Planner will be required to on energy related projects and full training can be provided.
The Senior Planner must be a chartered member of the RTPI or be working towards it as a minimum. At least 3 years' experience is required, with substantial technical knowledge and experience in planning. The Senior Town Planner must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with a proven track record of liaising with clients and producing an exceptional standard of work.
Key responsibilities include:
*Developing client relationships
*Preparing and submitting planning applications
*Co-ordinating project management and teams
*Carrying our site appraisals and assessments
*Planning appeal assistance
*Co-ordinating teams on large scale developments
