Junior Architectural Technologist


Currently looking for a Junior Technologist to join an Award Winning Architectural Practice based in Harrogate. Specialising in the design and delivery of retail, logistics, commercial and residential schemes, our client are committed to engaging creativity and innovation in order to design high quality buildings with optimum functionality.

Responsibilities of the Junior Architectural Technologist:

* Working directly with the in house Architect in producing drawings at initial design stage, for planning applications, building regulations, tender packages and construction purposes
* Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors and directors
* Attending site and client meetings where necessary
* Providing design and technical support
* Ensuring details are conforming to current building regulations and technical standards

Requirements of the Junior Architectural Technologist:

* Experience in planning and building regulation applications
* A high level of Competency using AutoCAD
* An ability to contribute to the department by conveying knowledge of new trends, techniques and technical innovation
* Full working knowledge of current regulations
* Ability to produce accurate & precise construction drawings packages
* Self-motivated and methodical approach to work with an attention to detail
* Good time management and a sense of urgency

Compensation for the Junior Architectural Technologist:

* Salary - up to £25,000 depending on experience
