Student Town Planner
We are seeking a STUDENT TOWN PLANNER to join our client in their SHEFFIELD office.
You will have completed 2 - 3 years of your relevant Degree and be keen to now work and complete your Degree on a part time basis.
You will work as a Planner in our client's strategic planning research unit which provides demographic and economic research to support planning applications and proposed allocations.
It also offers advice to developers and Local Planning Authorities with respect to the production of development plans.
Our client is a multi disciplinary firm of consultants offering a range of services along with a thriving town planning service working closely with clients in the private and public sectors.
They have a large number of offices across the U.K.
You will be on course to pass your third year of study with a minimum Mplan stage average of 2:2 and ideally you will also be a student member of RTPI or RICS.
Excellent support will be provided for you to take the APC and to be fully chartered with RTPI.
You will need excellent communication skills and good written and spoken English and be able to work on a number of projects at a time.
Good prospects for ambitious candidates.
You should have an interest for information and data analysis.
Salary in the range of £16000 to £17000 negotiable plus benefits.
