One of the South Wests' most successful design practices is currently on the lookout for an experienced Architectural Technician to join its busy Truro office on a permanent basis.

Ideally you will already have a number of years' worth of design experience within a UK based practice, using AutoCad and preferably Revit recently.

The types of projects that you can expect to get involved with include; residential, mixed use, leisure and educational projects.

The office itself is a young, vibrant and friendly office where they regularly get involved in teambuilding activities/ after work drinks.

Essential skills for this Architectural Technician position:

  • UK based experience working in private and/or public sector within residential and/ or commercial projects
  • You will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in an architectural/ construction based discipline
  • A confident self-starter who is equally comfortable working alone and as part of a team
  • You will have experience of assisting directors in managing project delivery and team management
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in running projects from concept stage through to completion with client and design team liaison
  • Ability to cope with dynamic and pressured deadlines
  • Experienced in working within multidisciplinary design teams
  • Excellent oral, written and graphic presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of key software's including AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, InDesign and Microsoft Office
