Based out of rural offices south of Preston, they are within easy commute of Preston, Warrington and Manchester. They are working on several frameworks for education and commercial projects, and have a growing private sector portfolio of cultural, residential and commercial projects too.
Your new role
This is a brand new position to the organisation - you will be responsible for the coordination of all the design drawing packages from all the different disciplines before issuing to site. This includes the quality checks, troubleshooting and inter-disciplinary coordination and liaison - usually this will involve 2D AutoCAD drawings but may include Revit models too, predominantly at the pre-construction stages.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be functioning as a job runner or coordinator in private practice or contractor, liaising with site staff, Architects, Engineers and Consultants to ensure the smooth delivery of the construction packages for on site delivery. There will be some site work involved so good construction knowledge & UK building regs are required.
