Interior Architect - Global Company Working Worldwide
A forward thinking global firm is currently looking to make an addition to their in-house design team (currently 8 strong).
The team is headed up by an award winning interior architect who is looking for an Interior Architect to work alongside a Senior Architect in the team.
The team has a flat structure and due to the size, the role requires a versatile individual that enjoys working across architecture & interiors.
Their amazing open plan & contemporary office space is based in Central London and currently houses around 300 members of staff.
The company offers flexi-working hours and provides its employees with a Mac laptop on day one with the option to work from home, from time to time. Other benefits include gym membership, private healthcare, 25 days holiday + bank holidays and they also shut down over the Christmas period!
The in-house architects & designers operate as a central team to the global business, their 'clients' being other people in the company. This is an interesting set-up as this allows the team more time to focus on design and ultimately spend less time on pitching and presentations.
They have numerous projects worldwide (mostly schools and offices) ranging from small to large scale. They currently have numerous education (school) projects all over the UK as well as a large 1000 staff office in Germany and a large school (includes office space) in America.
In order to produce the best results, the in-house design team focuses on the brand and architectural style of the projects (RIBA Stages 0-3) and then take on a supervisory role collaborating with local architects (to the area of the projects) to get the projects built.
Software:Vectorworks, Adobe CS & SketchUp.
This position is best suited to a hands on individual that has a passion for education &/or workplace design.
