An award winning London-based architectural practice are seeking an experienced Document Controller to support their friendly and dynamic team. The practice specialises in commercial and residential developments, new-builds and redevelopments in and around the London area. The purpose of the role is to provide support across multiple project teams with their document management.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Managing the work flow of project documents using electronic document management systems like Aconex, 4Projects and Newforma
  • Assisting teams with maintaining issue sheets, document registers and project correspondence
  • Assisting with maintenance of Project Quality Plans
  • Maintaining hard copy project records
  • Assisting with project Quality Management System requirements
  • Maintaining a clear and open dialogue with the project teams to understand programmes, workload and deadlines
  • Providing ad-hoc reception cover and supporting the Receptionist and Office Administrator as necessary

Key skills for the role:

  • Document Control experience from a relevant industry such as architecture or construction is essential
  • Working knowledge of document management systems like Asite, Aconex, Viewpoint, Newforma and Conject (training will be provided if necessary)
  • A pro-active, flexible approach
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Strong IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Client experience will be advantageous
