Your new company is an award winning and vibrant practice. They have steadily grown over the past couple of years and are in the position to be growing again. This company focuses on innovative residential buildings or smaller scale house extensions, to large bespoke new builds.The majority of their work is around the South West London and Surrey region, but have some projects that fall outside of this. They are a forward thinking company looking for the next person to come in and drive the company forward and celebrate success with them.
Currently they are bustling with business, with workers typically managing 3 to 5 projects at any one time. This means the work can be varied and different every time.
Your new role
In this role, you will be able to nurture and grow your career, with a chance for promotion on the horizon. Your new role as a Senior Architect/Team leader will involve taking on a high level of responsibility of the day-to-day delivery of one or multiple projects. You will have a chance to explore all of the RIBA stages, from inception to completion. Additionally, your new role will allow you to deal with clients, colleagues, suppliers, statutory bodies and contractors - ensuring the work you do will be varied on a daily basis. The typical duties will be varied depending on the project at hand.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, the right candidate will have a desire to not only develop themselves, but develop the company along with them. You will be ARB AND RIBA registered and have excellent design skills and experience in residential projects.
A successful candidate will have a stable employment history with no more than 2 employers in the past 10 years. In addition to this, a driving license is important as the successful candidate will be going on site frequently.
