RISK MANAGER

FOR ARCHITECTS’ PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY INSURER

The Wren, a leading architects’ professional indemnity insurer, is seeking a construction professional to join its risk management team. The position provides the opportunity to build relationships with many of the UK’s most prominent architectural practices, gaining an insight into their operations and procedures and providing constructive risk management advice and training to help them reduce their exposure to professional indemnity claims.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of the design and construction process, including knowledge of consultants’ appointments, project management, contract administration and the operation of procedures in both office and project environments. The position requires interaction with insured practices at a senior level so previous involvement in the management of a construction consultancy practice would be beneficial.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working with colleagues as part of a small, close-knit team and will have good interpersonal and presentation skills. They will be adept with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel and able to produce clear and concise written advice. Training in the specialist skills required will be provided.

The role is based in London but requires frequent travelling, mostly within the UK, but occasionally abroad and will require occasional overnight stays.
