Architectural Assistant/ Technician



Salary: £18,000- 30,000 (Depending on experience)

We have an excellent new opportunity for an Architectural Assistant or Technician to join a small & close-knit team of Architects, Surveyors and Planners based near Exeter.

We are looking to speak with candidates who have a minimum of 6 months' worth of architectural experience and also a strong working knowledge of AutoCad.

As part of this role, you will get the chance to work on a variety of very interesting projects including; small scale residential, housing schemes, barn conversions and commercial projects.

To be considered for this Architectural Assistant/ Technician role you must:

  • Be educated to degree level/ HND/ HNC (or relevant qualification) within an architectural/ construction/ CAD focussed subject
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCad and SketchUp
  • Design flair
  • Experience of working in a UK based practice
  • Good understanding of current UK building regulations
  • Thorough, technical understanding of UK construction

To be considered for this Architectural Assistant/ Technician role you will be:

  • Producing high quality technical drawing packages
  • Coordinating information required to support planning applications
  • Developing drawings and specifications for building regulations applications
  • Preparing detailed construction information and specifications
