An opportunity for an accomplished Architect has arisen with an established and prestigious architectural practice in the East Midlands to manage live projects, running jobs and mentoring junior members of staff.

Client Details

Leading regional Architect's practice featuring consistently in the AJ120 with a strong regional presence, gaining momentum in The City and Internationally. Their portfolio features an array of sectors across Education, Residential, Leisure, Commercial, Master planning and Retail. They have an active role throughout all stages of a project from inception through to handover.

They have recently undergone a restructuring which allows all employees equal opportunities to move between projects and work across their full portfolio which has £250mn in live projects. The directors work hard across management team to ensure each employee realises their potential and take an active role in developing careers.


You will be working closely with one of the Associates as his "right-hand man/woman". As an Architect, you will work on a range of projects and support the Associates in managing live project portfolio, running jobs and mentor/support more junior members of the team. A key aspect of the role will be to work closely with clients, especially at earlier stages in developing the brief and taking the project forward through all stages.

Your role will be critical to the success on a number of projects and you will be an integral part of the immediate studio and wider practice.


The preferred candidate will have:

  • ARB/RIBA qualified with at least 3yrs post qualification
  • experience across all construction types
  • REVIT is preferred however AutoCAD is essential; REVIT training will be given if required
  • you must have experience of working on large UK projects, preferably in the core sectors to the business of Education, Residential and Commercial
  • UK driving licence advantageous for site visit
  • You love all aspects of a project and are interested particularly in the relationship between key stakeholders working collaboratively to ensure the success of a project.
