An opportunity for an ambitious Architectural Technologist/Technician has arisen with an established and prestigious architectural practice in the East Midlands.

Client Details

Leading regional Architect's practice featuring consistently in the AJ120 with a strong regional presence, gaining momentum in The City and Internationally. Their portfolio features an array of sectors across Education, Residential, Leisure, Commercial, Masterplanning and Retail. They have an active role throughout all stages of a project from inception through to handover.

Description

You will form an integral part of the studio, supporting Architects with realising their vision and concept, and job-running throughout technical stages. Duties will include:

  • You will prepare technical and working drawing packages
  • Collate information for planning approvals
  • Produce feasibility studies and surveys
  • Liaise with clients, architects and contractors throughout the process
  • Undertake site visits and inspections as required
  • Ensure compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements

Profile

Due to the nature of this project, you must have at least 5year's recent UK experience working on live projects, preferably in the core sectors to the business of Retail, Residential and Commercial. You will have a good command of AutoCAD and if not a revit user already, an appetite to learn the software as training will be provided if required.

You will be comfortable using building regulations, with a reasonable understanding of the planning requirements and other regulatory documents.
