Part 3 Qualified Architect (Residential Experience)


Norwich, Norfolk

Salary: £38,000 - 45,000 (depending on experience)

I am currently working on an exciting new opportunity for either a newly qualified Architect or an experienced Architect to join an established architectural and engineering practice which is based near Norwich, Norfolk.

As part of this role, you will get the chance to work within a team of delivering some really interesting projects mainly across the housing sector.

To work as a Part 3 Qualified Architect (Residential Experience) you must have:

  • Completed your Part 3 qualification
  • Previous experience working in a UK practice ideally with a mixture of project experience (ideally housing)
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCad
  • Strong understanding of current UK Building Regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ideally you must also have a full UK driving licence and your own car

Working as a Part 3 Qualified Architect (Residential Experience) you will be:

  • Discussing concept ideas, project objectives and budgets of a projects specifically within housing, light industrial, education and workplace design
  • Attend client meetings and briefs
  • Preparing and presenting feasibility reports/ design proposals to the client
  • Assessing the impact on the local environment
  • Using AutoCad
  • Keeping within financial budgets and deadlines
  • Producing detailed workings, drawings and specifications
  • Preparing applications for planning and building control departments
  • Drawing up tender documents for contracts
  • Attending site visits to ensure that projects are being completed in time frames
