Your new company
Your new company is an award winning design and build company focusing on Office spaces for a variety of large household names for over 30 years. This company boasts large team based in a luxurious office set by the River Thames, including a private terrace overlooking the river to eat lunch on. Your new team are highly sociable, going on group activities such as boot camps, kayaking to work and offering fun activities at lunch clubs.
This company originally started out as a furniture company and has since grown into the large Design and Build company it is today. Today, the company is 80% design and build and 20% furniture. The scale of projects the company work on can be from £250,000 to £4M, meaning the work is always varied and challenging. The projects are also worldwide, and your new company have completed projects in Paris, St Petersburg as well as London.
Your new role
Your new role will encompass a variety of duties within the Furniture department. Your new role involves you working closely with the design team, and collaboration with them is important to help projects run smoothly. You will be coordinating multiple projects at one time, and these will always be at different stages. In this role you will be obtaining pricing, putting together cost plans for pitches and tenders, and obtaining final supplier quotations before finalising contracts.
Your duties will involve showroom visits, client meetings and managing the project through to furniture installation. You will be procuring the materials and ensuring that the bespoke furniture is made exactly as ordered, and follow the process through to delivery and set up in the newly designed office.
What you'll need to succeed
Due to the nature of the role, it is necessary that you have a keen eye for attention to detail. It is important that you are organised, able to multitask, and able to ensure projects run to strict timeline to ensure you meet deadlines. You must be able to use Microsoft office fully, but most importantly, Microsoft Excel. It is beneficial for you to be able to use AutoCAD as you will be reading plans from AutoCAD.
What you'll get in return
In return for working for this company, as well as receiving a competitive salary, you will receive a 3% company pension from this company. As well as this, there is up to a 25% bonus on your annual salary if your targets and the companies targets are reached.
