About Nick Hill Architects
Nick Hill Architects is an RIBA chartered architectural practice and design studio based in SE London founded in 2017. Through a series of early built projects the practice has established a particular sensibility for the characterful use of materials; how they are combined and the care with which they are detailed – whether objects, room interiors, individual buildings or the public spaces in between.
The Role
We are seeking a talented and thoughtful Part 2 architectural assistant to join our studio on a part-time basis and contribute towards a number of residential, heritage and cultural projects currently in development. The ideal candidate should be a confident designer, comfortable working across scales and typologies.
Key Responsibilities - include but not limited to:

- Supporting director effectively on small and medium scale projects across all RIBA stages
- Production of drawings, 3D digital models and imagery for client presentations, statutory submissions and external publications
- Production of technical detailing, information, and working/drawing information packages for tender and construction
- Supporting director with the coordination of information across consultant and construction teams
- Maintaining personal and professional development, keeping up to date with latest statutory regulations
- Supporting director with new work bids as required

Key Skills and Competencies:

- Strong presentation, organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of UK building regulations and planning
- Experience of running small projects, is preferable but not essential
- Working knowledge of AutoCad, SketchUp, V-ray & Adobe Creative Suite
