We are looking for an architectural professional to join the education team of one of the UK’s leading contractors. This is a rare opportunity to kickstart a career in design co-ordination / management with no prior experience necessary and full training provided.

You would be joining an enthusiastic and driven team working on an extremely buoyant and varied workload of some of the UK’s leading education projects including both new builds and major refurbishments.

As part of the pre-construction team, you will be running your own schemes from tender to early site stages (or initially supporting dependant on level of experience). This includes coordinating design between consultants, carrying out technical reviews, overcoming design issues, programme planning and site preparation. 

There is excellent scope for continued career progression within a growing team and multi £100m order book of exciting projects. While you’ll be joining a global company, it feels like a family environment as the team leader and members are extremely friendly and down to earth.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Architect / Architectural Technician with 3+ years of project experience
  • Strong organisation and project management skills
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • Experience in the education sector would be beneficial
