A top AJ100, award-winning International Architectural practice seek a Technologist to join and support on a range of projects, predominately with a residential bias in their West London studio.

Client Details

A leading UK practice who have recently attracted a lot of attention through frankly outstanding and innovative design. They offer their clients a full range of architectural services, including master-planning and have an in house modelling team to aid in client presentations.

They work in numerous sectors and are best known for their work on a number of high profile projects on Commercial, Residential, Retail and Leisure Sectors. They excel in design and approach every project as one unto its own, starting with an ambition to understand the project's core essence and to then develop a bespoke architectural solution, in collaboration and open dialogue with the client.

Throughout all projects, they work holistically across all RIBA stages in depth to ensure all elements are considered, actively liaising with external consultants and stakeholders to accuracy and quality not only of design but all structure and build.


As an Architectural Technologist, you will have access to their full range of live projects, working closely with the Architectural and Design team on projects through the RIBA PoW, with critical emphasis on RIBA stages 2-5.

Duties will include:

  • Understanding brief and taking project from concept through design development;
  • You will prepare technical and working drawing packages;
  • Collate information for planning approvals;
  • Produce feasibility studies and surveys;
  • Liaise with clients and contractors throughout the process;
  • Undertake site visits and inspections as required;
  • Ensure compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements.
  • Your role will be critical to the success on a number of projects and you will be an integral part of the immediate studio and wider practice.


    The practice has fully REVIT implemented, and for this particular project it is essential you are a competent user, and ideally have experience working on live projects in collaboration with others. You will have between 2 - 5 years experience, and be comfortable with UK Building Regulations and the RIBA's Schedule of Works in order to work within time frames and realise a brief.
