I am on the look out for a newly qualified ARB registered architect to join a medium to large practice in the Northwest area of London. Salary for this role is circa £45,000 depending on experience.

Although this is an ideal position for a newly qualified architect, this practice will also consider experienced part II's for the role. In the role, you will be working on large scale mixed-use projects, therefore, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience working on similar projects, however, a purely residential background wouldn't go amiss for this one. Projects are ranging from 100 to 300 units in size, so a portfolio to reflect such work would be ideal.

You should be confident with the planning stages of the projects, with experience in assisting with planning applications. There will be more emphasis on your technical experience as initially you will be working on the planning and post planning stages, and as a result you will need to show excellent knowledge of construction detailing. A sound understanding of UK building regulations is a must for this position. An expertise between stages 3-5 would put you in good stead.

The company in question have transferred to Revit from Microstation in recent years. You will be required to use Revit on a daily basis so fluency is essential, experience using Microstation is also preferable.

This is a permanent role with potential for an element of flexible working. The role also comes with good career progression and a social working environment. Interviews are looking to take place next week with a start date in mind for mid to late December or early January 2023. Not one to be missed, get in touch now.
