I am looking for an ARB registered Architect to join this design led, award winning, AJ100 practice in the Kings Cross area of London. This is a practice on the larger side, they are around 90 employees strong. This practice prides itself on its traditional approach to architecture, while having a unique flare for design. The salary for this role is circa £40,000 depending on experience.
This role is fitting for those of you with at least two years post part III experience. The practice work on a variety of projects, however, their main focus is large scale mixed-use buildings and commercial projects, so experience working on similar projects is preferred.
Initially, this role will be more design focused and will require you to have a strong background in RIBA stages 1-3, along side this, you will have strong experience in design and detailing skills, client liaising, and experience in design team coordination. Despite the strong focus on design, it is crucial that you are confident on all RIBA stages as the role will involve you working within a team, taking projects though to site.
Additionally, technical experience is vital for this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of UK building regulations and current construction methods. Having an understanding of UK procurement and construction would also be beneficial. Microstation is the software used by this practice, so proficiency in Microstation is essential. This practice also uses Revit, therefore, an understanding of BIM or Revit would be an advantage.
As well as being a well established AJ100 practice, this studio also offers a variety of benefits such as training and development opportunities, studio outings and social events, health and well being incentives, and closing the office over the Christmas period. The practice also offer an element of flexibility for the role.
Interviews are looking to take place over the next two weeks, with a start date of mid December to early January, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss out on, so don't hesitate to get in touch.
