A nationally renowned multi-disciplinary have a superb opportunity for an Architectural Technician or Technologist, where you will have the chance to work on some of the most challenging construction projects in the UK.
Their portfolio varies but includes industrial, manufacturing and energy, life sciences and chemicals, transport (rail and aviation), infrastructure and utilities, pharmaceutical, public sector, nuclear.... the list goes on. Essentially, they look for strong UK construction experience, an acute ability in producing detailed drawing packages, a sound knowledge of building regulations will be needed to succeed in this role, as well as a proven track record of delivering tender documentation. Good communication between client and contractors and a strength in managing those clients expectations are both attributes that will go a long way.
Revit & AutoCAD are the main tools of choice. You don't have to be the world's most proficient Revit user to be considered, but as you will be joining a company who operate at BIM Level 2 and have a really forward thinking BIM team in place, it is important that you have used it on a live project in practice previously. Due to a focus on pharmaceutical & laboratory projects in particular at the moment, candidates who can demonstrate that they have worked across one of these sectors previously would have a strong advantage in this application process. All in all, highly regulated and very complex schemes are what they do, and you will be able to show that you have worked on similar schemes previously.
Salary is dependent on experience, but is likely to be up to £40,000 per annum for more senior individuals.
