An interesting opportunity has become available for a Trainee BIM Manager to work for a well-established, nationwide practice. You'll be based from their Kent office and should be commutable or living within the Sevenoaks area. This is a permanent opportunity for a salary range of £25-32,000 pa.
This is am ideal position for someone looking to take the step up into becoming a BIM manager in the long term. You'll be reporting directly to and guided by the BIM manager and will be expected to deliver training to staff both in the Kent office and other where necessary. You'll of course be providing BIM support and troubleshooting where required and as such your ability to communicate and present your thoughts and ideas is vital. Managing models and delivering BIM outputs is also a large aspect of this role. There is an established BIM team within the practice across various locations so you'll need to be comfortable with working within a team environment.
ArchiCAD is the BIM software in use so in an ideal world you'll have a background with using the software. If not the training will be provided however you will need to be comfortable with other BIM softwares to be considered. Solibri is also an important software here for the use of clash detection, sound knowledge of this would put you ahead of the rest. As is the way with these positions you'll be implementing new versions and softwares within the company over time.
As the title suggests this is very much a trainee level position that very much lends itself to an individual looking to progress their career long term with a very well respecting company.
