Kirkwood McLean Architects are looking for a talented and focused Associate Director to join their small Soho Team.
The successful Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience, preferably in UK markets. The candidate should have a strong proven track record managing teams on complex projects. The candidate should be able to confidently demonstrate the following;
- Experience of UK Construction Industry, preferably High-end Residential
- 10+ Years ARB registration
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Client Facing Experience
- Strong Site Experience (much of our work is on site)
- Aptitude for Business Development
- Aptitude for Systems Development (improving efficiencies)
- Experience using Autocad & Adobe Creative Suite
Due to Covid restrictions our anticipation is that the role will be worked from home. In order to assist this, access to technology and assistance in the creation of a comfortable working environment will be provided. The practice will also provide the successful candidate membership to the Union Club & House of St Barnabas, which can be utilised as and when central London working space/meetings are required.
Whilst the Practice is located in London, the remote nature of working in the current environment means that we will happily discuss the role with candidates who do not live in London.
The role proposed role is full-time, flexible working hours are open to discussion though we typically request that five "core-hours" are worked between 10am and 6pm
Kirkwood McLean offer 20 days holiday, with additional days offered over xmas and new year when the office traditionally closes. Candidates who complete the 3-month probationary period will be enrolled onto the practice pension scheme. Salary is negotiable, depending on experience.
