SUMMARY
This is an exciting opportunity to join AHMM’s growing Building Performance Team.
The team is growing to deliver on our commitment to helping tackle the climate and
biodiversity emergency . This role would suit an early career professional.

The team is an integral part of our architectural design process, supporting our projects
with knowledge, expertise, analysis and performance modelling to help develop
sus tainable, integrated and regenerative architecture.
Communicating this work to our architects, clients, local authorities, certification
organisations and others to demonstrate high performance and regulatory
compliance is a key part of this role.

This position is offered as a full time permanent role, however we are open to discussing
flexible working hours

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work alongside our architectural and consultant teams to help develop sustainable,
low carbon and regenerative architecture.
• Input into sustainability and building performance research and development.
• Dissemin ation of knowledge throughout the practice through graphic, written
and verbal communication including participation in CPD events.
• Preparation of sustainability related submissions to inform compliances eg
Circular Economy and Life Cycle Assessment statements.
• Development and com munication of sustainable strategies through reports,
diagra ms and drawings using AHMM’s in- house sustainability toolkit.
• Performance modelling using AHMM’s bespoke tools, parametric options
appraisal tools and industry standard softwares .
• Support of material specification for a range of sustaina bility metrics.

REQUIREMENTS
• A post graduate degree in Architectural Engineering, Environmental Design or
similar.
• At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role.
• BRE EAM Assessor or LEED /other equivalent would be advantageous .
• Ability to communicate environmental strategies in a variety of media for diverse
audiences.
• Wide knowledge of sustainability issues facing the UK and international
design and construction industries.
