CAD Technician

I’ve just taken on a great opportunity for a CAD Technician to work with a well established planning consultancy in Essex. This is a permanent role with a salary of £23.000 depending on experience.

I’m looking for someone with over 2 years’ experience in the built environment working in residential, commercial or industrial sectors. You’ll be part of a small team reporting to the Senior Design Technician, creating existing and proposed floor plans, elevations and sections accurately. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the planning consultant team to further your knowledge on the industry.

This is a mid-size multi-disciplinary practice with a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and industrial projects. To be a successful applicant you need to be proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp, having interest in town planning/ urban design is an advantage.

This is mainly an office based position, but the company offers some flexibility, 26 days holiday, private healthcare and many more.
